Heather Stern Real Estate Review

I began looking for a home to start my family with my girlfriend (now wife) in 2018. In the beginning I was just looking online, searching for open houses and trying to set things up on my own. After a month or so of realizing that approach was not going to work, I remembered someone who had helped me greatly in a prior legal event, who also has a real estate license. Heather Stern.

I contacted her and I feel like we hit the ground running going over details such as, location, type, size, must haves, must NOT haves, bedrooms, etc. I already had a mortgage broker, and knew my price points, which made the beginning easier. Heather and I started looking at houses, and she was able to contact listing agents and set up showings quickly and efficiently. With the market moving extremely fast, and some houses selling for $10k or more over the asking price with no contingencies and cash offers, we stuck to our game plan we created. The patience and courtesy she had with me through a long year of searching and offering made the experience pleasant instead of frustrating.

There were houses along the way that we had offers in and we didn't get the house, but the end result was the best it could have been. We found our home in August of 2019 and we are glad to have asked Heather for help. She stuck with us step by step, answering any and all questions we had. For that I will be forever grateful, and will always recommend her if someone is looking for a home or property.

When I met Heather many years ago, she contacted me about adopting a dog since I do Samoyed rescue. I was excited to place a dog with her since living with her and her family I knew would be like being in heaven. Initially, I did not even know she was a lawyer.
